The Love Laundry Day Campaign: Turning a Chore Into a Ritual

Most people treat laundry like a punishment. We built our new Love Laundry Day campaign with Scott Eastwood to prove it should be a premium self-care ritual.

“I f*cking hate laundry day.”

It’s something most of us have said (or at least thought) at some point. You stare at that massive pile of clothes in the corner of your bedroom. It just keeps growing. You ignore it until you are completely out of clean shirts and finally have to face the music.

For decades, the traditional CPG industry accepted this reality. The big legacy brands sold you a utilitarian product in a giant neon plastic jug. They treated laundry like a punishment you just had to get through. They focused completely on getting grass stains out of sweatpants.

They missed the entire point of the experience.

Here’s the thing, most people treat laundry like a chore. We’ve always believed it should be something to enjoy. A self-care ritual.

Think about the other areas of your life. You buy premium coffee beans because you want your morning cup to be an experience. You invest in high-end cologne or perfume because smelling good makes you feel confident. You upgrade your shower routine. You upgrade your skincare.

So why are you washing the clothes that touch your skin all day in something that smells like a sterile hospital?

When we started building Laundry Sauce, the goal was simple. We wanted to elevate the mundane. Look at brands like Liquid Death or DUDE Wipes. They took categories that were incredibly boring and injected actual life into them. They gave people a reason to care. That is exactly what we are doing for the laundry room. We are taking a task you have to do anyway and making it something you actually look forward to.

Enter Scott Eastwood

Today I’m beyond excited to announce Laundry Sauce’s newest brand campaign: Love Laundry Day, starring Scott Eastwood.

When we were mapping out this campaign, we knew we needed to capture a very specific feeling. We wanted to visually represent what happens in your brain when you smell our product.

Think Happy Gilmore “Happy Place”.

That is exactly the vibe we were going after. A complete mental escape. A moment of absolute peace and premium fragrance right in the middle of your laundry room.

There may also be a cougar cameo. Allegedly.

You will just have to watch the video to see what I mean.

And to Scott Eastwood, for being such an amazing brand spokesperson, we are so grateful for you! He completely understands the vision we are executing. He brings exactly the right energy to the brand. When you are scaling an 8-figure business, the people you align with matter. The partners you choose become an extension of your DNA. Scott fits perfectly into what we are building.

Why Brand Soul Matters

Look at the current eComm landscape. That old DTC playbook is cooked. Everyone is just filming themselves holding a product on an iPhone and throwing ad spend behind it. Do not get me wrong. We run performance ads too. They have their place and they move the needle.

But the “print money with ads” era is over.

If you want to build a real brand today, you have to swing bigger. You have to invest in high-level creative that actually tells a story. You have to build a world your customers want to step into. A lot of founders are afraid to spend real money on top-tier brand campaigns because the direct ROI is harder to track on day one. They are playing a short-term game.

We are playing the long game. We are building a brand with a soul.

Executing the Wild Vision

Ideas are cheap. Execution is everything. You can have the best campaign concept in the world written on a whiteboard, but getting it on screen is a completely different game. It takes a relentless focus on excellence from everyone involved.

Huge shoutout to the team at Raindrop Marketing for being an incredible creative partner on this one, they helped bring a wild vision to life and absolutely nailed it.

If you are a founder building a brand right now, pay attention to who you partner with. You need agencies and creatives who do not just yes-man your ideas. You need partners who take your raw vision, refine it, and elevate it. Raindrop did exactly that. They pushed the creative boundaries and helped us deliver something that looks and feels totally different from anything else in our category.

Our team poured everything into this one, and I’ve never been prouder of what we created.

I watch our people grind day in and day out getting sh*t done. Scaling a CPG brand is not glamorous. It is supply chain headaches. It is margin optimization. It is solving problems that pop up at the worst possible times. But when you get to launch something like this, it makes all of the hard work worth it.

Stop Hating the Chores

I will leave you with this. Life is full of things you have to do. You have to take out the trash. You have to commute. You have to wash your clothes.

If you spend your time hating the mundane parts of your day, you are going to spend a lot of your life miserable. You might as well find a way to make them better. You might as well upgrade the experience.

Laundry is something you have to do. You might as well love it.

Full campaign is live now on our YouTube. Go watch it. Then go do a load of laundry with Laundry Sauce 🤘 https://youtu.be/He2ytCLXN30
