Building an 8-figure CPG brand means you are always living in the future. You are solving problems today while building the solutions for tomorrow. At Laundry Sauce, we are relentless about what comes next.

We do not just guess what people want. We listen. We iterate. We build. When we started this company, the goal was simple. Take the most boring chore in the house and make it premium.

We just locked in our roadmap for the next few years. I want to share some quick spoilers for 2026 at Laundry Sauce.

If you are building something, you know the drill. You cannot just sit on your hero product forever. You have to expand. But you have to do it the right way.

We are adding several laundry must-haves to our lineup. Here is exactly what we are dropping and the business strategy behind why we are doing it.

Fix The Real Pain Points

A lot of brands expand just to boost their average order value. That playbook is cooked. Customers see right through it. You have to launch products that solve actual, frustrating problems.

Take wine stains. You buy a nice shirt, you wear it out, and one spill ruins it. People just accept that the shirt is dead. Not anymore. Next year, wine stains? Gone.

Then you have the odor problem. If you are a parent with kids in sports, you know exactly what I am talking about. Kids’ hockey gear turning your trunk into an absolute biohazard? Solved. We are bringing heavy-duty solutions to the market.

When you build a product that takes a disgusting, frustrating problem and makes it disappear, you do not just get a sale. You get a customer for life. That is how you move the needle. You listen to the complaints and you engineer the fix.

The Power of Limited Releases

Functional products are great. But they are not enough. It would not be right to start a new year without new fragrances.

Fragrance is the core of our brand positioning. We looked at brands like Le Labo and Maison Francis Kurkdjian and brought that level of luxury to your washing machine. We are not stopping now.

We have two limited releases up our sleeve for 2026.

If you are a founder in the DTC space, you need to understand the limited drop model. It is a cheat code for growth when executed correctly.

Here is why we heavily utilize limited releases at Laundry Sauce:

  • 🎯Scarcity drives action. When customers know a scent is leaving, they buy it right now.
  • 🧪Low risk testing. We can try a wild fragrance profile without buying a full year of inventory.
  • 🔁Repeat purchases. Your loyal subscription customers always want something fresh to add to their box.
  • 🤝Community building. The people who secure a limited drop feel like insiders.

Limited drops let you test the waters. You can get scrappy. You can try a wild concept without committing to mass production and retail distribution. If customers do not want it, retail will not save you. Limited releases protect your downside while maximizing the hype.

The Underground Collab Strategy

This is the part I am most excited about. One of those limited releases just might be a collab with an underground perfumer.

Brand collaborations are everywhere right now. Most of them are incredibly boring. Two companies just slap their logos on a box and call it a day. That is BS.

If you want a collaboration to actually work, you need to bring two different worlds together. An underground perfumer brings an edge. They bring a story. They operate completely outside the traditional corporate fragrance houses.

Innovation does not come from doing what everyone else does. If we wanted to play it safe, we would launch a standard lavender scent like the big legacy brands. But you have to stand out. An underground artist does not care about mass market appeal. They care about making something incredible.

When you combine a gritty, underground creator with a premium CPG brand, you create something people actually want to talk about. You give the product a soul.

Critics might say you do not need an underground perfumer to make laundry soap. Critics do not know sh*t. We are not just making soap. We are building an experience. Look at Liquid Death or DUDE Wipes. They did not just make water or wipes. They built an entirely new category through bold positioning. We are doing the exact same thing for your clothes.

Making the Mundane Incredible

Running a business is hard. But it is also incredibly fun when you get to redefine a category.

Our entire mission at Laundry Sauce is to take a chore you dread and turn it into something you actually look forward to. Nobody wakes up excited to do laundry. We are changing that.

If we have not already made laundry your favorite chore, hang tight. 2026 is going to be massive.

I am incredibly proud of our lean team. They operate like special forces. We are dealing with the same supply chain challenges and copycats as everyone else. But we just put our heads down and work harder. We focus on our T5T. We block out the noise. We keep a relentless focus on excellence.

If you are a founder looking at your roadmap for next year, stop playing it safe. Launch the product that scares you a little bit. Partner with someone outside your industry. Make something your customers will actually care about.
