Why We Build Nimble Teams to Fund Bigger Missions

How keeping our operations lean with AI and global talent creates the margin we need to fund entrepreneurs in vulnerable communities.

Giving Tuesday hits different when it is personal.

Most people know me for Laundry Sauce these days. They see the brand growth, the eComm success, and the eight-figure business. But my wife Ashley and I have built something on the side that means just as much to me.

To fully grasp why we built it, you have to understand our core philosophy on business. We build highly efficient, profitable companies so we can create a financially abundant future for our family that is focused on serving others. You cannot fund massive impact if your own business operations are bloated and slow.

The Playbook for Staying Nimble

Every small business wants to stay nimble. But being nimble is not about having a tiny team. It is about building the right one.

Here is exactly what is working for us at Laundry Sauce to keep our output high and our overhead tight.

First, we are up-skilling our team with AI. When every person knows how to use the right tools, your output shoots up without adding headcount. We automate the repetitive work so our team can focus on the decisions that actually move the needle.

Second, we are hiring internationally. There is so much incredible talent outside the US. We have found world-class designers, editors, media buyers, and analysts globally. You can build an absolute powerhouse of a team if you are willing to look beyond your ZIP code. Stay scrappy and find the best people regardless of where they live.

Third, we bring in specialists where it counts. We do not try to master everything internally. For critical functions like email retention, creative production, and SEO, the right agency can plug in and bring years of expertise instantly.

You do not need every skill in-house. You just need access to it. The real unlock is not choosing between internal versus external. It is knowing how to stitch them together into one relentless machine.

Talent Is Everywhere. Opportunity Is Not.

We see this reality every day when we hire international talent for our business. But we see it even more clearly when we step away from the corporate world.

Four years ago, Ashley and I co-founded a nonprofit with close friends called GIVE VENTURES.

The mission is simple. We help entrepreneurs in vulnerable communities start and grow real, sustainable businesses.

We believe in being servant leaders who show up relentlessly, make a lot of money, and give it away to impact the Kingdom of God. We take the exact same business principles that we use to scale our own companies and share them with founders who are fighting to change their family tree.

We have spent the last few years on the ground in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. We have been meeting founders, hearing their stories, and watching businesses come alive.

These entrepreneurs do not want a handout. They have incredible work ethic and grit. They just need a shot.

Building Real Stability

Being on the ground with these founders has been one of the most meaningful things Ashley and I have ever done together. It pulls us back to the real reason we work so hard in the first place.

We are not just offering temporary aid. We are helping families build long-term stability and opportunity through their own businesses.

The results so far speak for themselves. We have trained more than 2,100 entrepreneurs.

We also put our money where our mouth is. Ashley and I have personally given nearly $800,000 to fund GIVE Ventures. We do not share that number to brag. We share it because we want other founders to know that you do not have to wait until you sell your company to start making a real impact. You can build your business and serve others at the exact same time.

Expanding the Mission

We are just getting started.

This year, we are raising $50,000 to expand our operations into Colombia in 2026.

This funding goes directly to providing training, mentorship, and seed capital for people who are ready to put in the work and build something sustainable.

Running a business is hard. Raising a family is harder. Trying to do both without access to basic capital or business education is a massive uphill battle. But with the right mentorship and seed money, these founders absolutely crush it.

If you are a founder, an operator, or just someone in a position to help, we would be incredibly grateful for your support.

It is never too late to use your success to change someone else’s game. Let’s get s*** done and build something that actually matters.
